Paul Taylor Talks Pay Transparency with the CBC

Updated: Feb 14

Evenings & Weekends Co-Founder and Principal Consultant Paul Taylor spoke to the CBC about our core commitment to pay transparency.

"For racialized folks, particularly for women, I think the secrecy around pay and wages has really only served employers and capitalism." — Paul

According to Statistics Canada, in 2021, women employees aged 25-54 earned 89 cents for every dollar earned by men, with notable pay gaps for racialized and Indigenous people.

Evenings & Weekends' own pay grid is public, and we support our clients to make pay transparency and pay equity organizational priorities.

Land Acknowledgment

We acknowledge that the sacred land that we live, work, dream and rest on is the traditional territories of the Wendat, Haudenosaunee, Anishinabeg, Mississaugas of the Credit and Attiwonderonk. We believe that reconciliation and mending relations with First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples is our collective responsibility, which requires ongoing reflection and action.
