    Chroma NB

    We partnered with Chroma NB to build a sustainable culture of philanthropy throughout the organization. Through an equity-focused process, we offered clear offered clear strategies to diversify revenue, formalize fundraising practices, and deepen community trust and engagement in support of 2SLGBTQIA+ people across New Brunswick.

    Board Recruitment

    Unison Health and Community Services

    We designed and led Unison’s recruitment process and found dozens of qualified candidates—including local leaders with deep ties to Unison’s communities. We successfully placed three new Board members to complement their high-functioning team.

    We trained The Walrus staff on best practices for listening and facilitation to bring their colleagues, partners, and communities together to co-envision the publication’s future. Our strategic plan focused on sustainability, compelling journalism, and strengthening the organization to meet the challenges of a rapidly changing sector.

    Research

    Canadian Women’s Foundation

    E&W’s unique research approach paired insights drawn from academic journal articles and community-based reports with new interviews with migrant workers and advocates. Our report provided policy recommendations identified in the literature and shared by allies and advocates on the front lines, and funding recommendations to support future work.

    Equity Audits & Training

    REAP Food Group

    We engaged REAP’s staff, Board, and other informants in structured focus groups and one-on-one interviews to understand how equity was embedded in the organization and identify opportunities to enhance and advance those efforts. We offered a series of action-oriented recommendations on a short-, medium- and long-term horizon, paired with tailored and trauma-informed trainings.

    National Ad Campaign

    Canadian Association of Midwives

    Guided by participants in our national survey and focus groups, we developed a multi-language print and digital campaign addressing barriers to midwifery care for racialized, newcomer, and/or LGBTQ2S+ families. Our campaign generated 6.5 million social impressions, and drove over 32,000 visits to the campaign microsite.
