We're excited to be supporting Unison Health & Community Services in the search for new Board members!
➡️ Are you passionate about ensuring that everyone has access to the health services that they need?
➡️ Do you have experience with challenging the root cause of health inequities?
➡️ Are you part of a community that has historically faced barriers to accessing health services that meet your needs?
➡️ Do you live or work in North West Toronto?
If you answered yes to any of the above questions, we'd love to hear from you.
As a Board Member, you'll shape the direction of Unison and support the organization in its mission to deliver accessible and high quality health and community services that are integrated, respond to needs, build on strengths and inspire change.
This voluntary role requires attending 9 Board meetings annually (3rd Monday of the month, 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM), participating in 4 committee meetings per year, and attending the AGM. Members can expect to contribute about 40 hours each year.
We welcome applications from all, especially those who identify as Black, Indigenous, people of colour, people living with disabilities, members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, and other equity-deserving groups. We're seeking people who are passionate, committed, and eager to learn and grow within a supportive and collaborative team environment.
Please submit your application through the online portal (link below) by Monday, July 15, 10:00 AM ET. Applications will be reviewed and up to 10 candidates shortlisted for interviews. Virtual interviews via Zoom will be scheduled between July 29, 2024, and August 15, 2024. Candidates will receive interview questions in advance and accommodations will be arranged if needed.
